Digital delivery is coming to the transportation industry. We help you be ready for it.
CAD Journey is a Bentley Accredited Training and Implementation Partner. We help engineering firms and agencies adopt digital delivery with confidence, using the tools your teams already work with.
What is Digital Delivery?
Digital delivery is how infrastructure projects are designed, reviewed, and handed over using connected digital information rather than static documents. It's not a new way of engineering — it's a more structured way of managing and sharing the information a project produces. US Departments of Transportation are beginning to require it, and firms are starting to see it in their contract requirements.

Digital Delivery: A Complete Guide
The Benefits of Digital Delivery
Industry analysis, including from the Federal Highway Administration, points to meaningful reductions in change orders.
-
Fewer coordination issues later in delivery
-
More predictable review and approval cycles
-
Less rework from conflicting or outdated information
-
Stronger collaboration across the project team
-
Clearer design intent for construction
What This Means for Your Team
Digital delivery does not change what you design. It changes how your work is coordinated, reviewed, and handed over.
-
More structure around how information is named, organized, and submitted
-
More coordination earlier in design
-
More shared project information, fewer standalone document changes
-
Reviews that happen continuously, not only at milestones

We offer both. Remote training works well for individuals or smaller groups and has more flexibility within your schedule. On-site training is available for teams who need a hands-on, face-to-face environment. On-site can be particularly useful when rolling out a new software across a department or for onboarding a larger team all at once.
All training sessions are delivered in 4 hour blocks. Off-the-shelf packages begin at a total of 24 hours of training spread across multiple sessions. Custom follow up-training and support hours are available in 4 hour blocks.
Yes. Off-the-shelf courses cover the core functionality, but we know that how your team uses the software day-to-day is often specific to your projects and processes. We can shape training around your actual workflows, datasets, and deliverables, so that your team leaves with immediately applicable skills and outcomes.
For remote sessions, we recommend keeping groups small enough that everyone gets adequate time with the instructor. This guidance typically comes out to no more than 6-8 participants. For on-site training we can accommodate larger groups, or split into multiple sessions if needed.
